Why This Combo Works
The Bard/Paladin/Enchanter combo is a Swiss Army knife that can handle any situation:
- Paladin provides plate armor, Defensive stance (50% damage reduction), heals, stuns, Lay on Hands, and undead smiting. Your primary tank and off-healer.
- Bard provides permanent passive songs: run speed (Selo's), mana regen (Clarity-equivalent), attack speed (Haste), damage shields, resists, and tracking. No twisting needed — activate and forget.
- Enchanter provides crowd control (mezmerize, pacify, charm), mana regen (Clarity), illusion spells, Haste, and Slow. The charm AA makes charm 100% unbreakable.

💡 Recommended Starting Race
Bard primary → Half Elf. Gives you 90 CHA (excellent for Bard songs and Enchanter charm tick checks), 90 AGI for defense, 85 DEX for instrument fizzle reduction. Paladin secondary (all races can be Paladin secondary). Enchanter third at level 10.
Stat Priority

Playstyle Rotation
- Pre-fight: Cast buffs (Clarity, Valor, Selo's, Anthem, Psalm). Keep songs active.
- Pull: Use Enchanter pacify or Bard lull to split packs. Selo's + snare kiting if needed.
- Engage: Defensive stance. Paladin stun for initial aggro. Mez adds immediately.
- Sustain: Clarity song + Clarity spell stack for maximum mana regen. Bard passive HP/MP regen ticking.
- Charm: When safe, charm a strong mob for bonus DPS. Enchanter AA makes charm 100% unbreakable.
- Emergency: Color Flux AE stun + Lay on Hands if HP drops. Christy's Cleric can assist with heals.
- After fight: Bard mana regen + Paladin self-heals = zero downtime between pulls.
Gearing Philosophy
Since you wear plate armor (from Paladin), prioritize finding gear that boosts these stats:
- CHA items for Bard songs and Enchanter charms
- WIS items for Paladin mana pool
- HP/AC — you're the tank. Raw survivability first.
- Instrument modifiers for Bard songs (all/all items in EQL — any slot)
- Two "any" slots can hold a shield (full AC) and a breastplate (stat stacking)
Synergies with Christy's Combo
This combo pairs extremely well with Christy's Cleric/Necromancer/Wizard:
- Your Bard Clarity song + Enchanter Clarity spell stack, giving Christy's caster trio immense mana regen
- Your Paladin tanking lets Christy's Necro and Wizard nuke freely without aggro
- Her Cleric can main-heal while you off-heal and tank
- Her Wizard + your Paladin stuns = massive burst damage
- Her Necro roots/snares + your Enchanter mezzes = ultimate battlefield control
- Her Cleric resurrections + your Paladin resurrection = safety net
🔥 Open Beta Strategy
For the July 1 beta (wiped July 21), focus on: (1) Learning the combo rotation, (2) Speed leveling through classic zones, (3) Discovering what gear drops from named mobs, (4) Testing charm mechanics with different pet types, (5) Coordinating buffs/debuffs with your Christy's combo. Since the beta is wiped, treat it as a learning experience — experiment with different songs, stances, and charm targets.
