EverQuest Legends — Game Overview

Everything you need to know about the reimagined classic MMORPG.

What Is EverQuest Legends?

EverQuest Legends (EQL) is a reimagined version of classic EverQuest from its original 1999 release, developed by Game Jawn in partnership with Daybreak Games. It features the same classic art style, graphics, zones, spell effects, loot, and music — but with a revolutionary multiclassing system and modern quality-of-life improvements.

📅 Key Dates

Pre-Order Beta: July 1–21, 2026 (servers wiped at end)
Full Launch: July 28, 2026
Pre-Orders Open: June 16, 2026 — includes beta access, name reservation, and "The Legend" title.

The Multiclassing System

The defining feature of EQL: you build a character by selecting up to 3 classes. All three classes' spells, abilities, skills, and passives are active simultaneously. With 16 classes and 560 possible combinations, the variety is immense.

Available Races (15 at Launch)

Race requirements have been removed from most items. Additional races beyond starting options unlocked through achievements (first unlock token at level 50).
